My son was having sensory problems that were affecting him at school and at home. Sounds and touching could be overwhelming for him, and it was difficult for us to see him so disturbed by these things. After his doctor checked him, we were advised to start occupational therapy and were referred to Mustard Seeds Therapy in Pahrump. They offered three options: in-home, telehealth, and in-clinic therapy. We chose the in-home option for our son. His therapist is very supportive and has a nice way of working with him. She plays with him first and talks to him in a friendly manner, which helps him settle down. After a few sessions, I have noticed that he is slowly improving with his sensory issues. He is beginning to handle sounds and other sensory experiences better. Seeing these small changes has made me very happy.
