Melissa Katz is a licensed speech-language pathologist specializing in working with adults (including young adults) with communication, language (aphasia), cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders resulting from neurological conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, brain tumor. She provides teletherapy services throughout Connecticut and mobile services to select towns in Fairfield County in and near Westport. She also provides educational talks at local organizations re: cognitive wellness and healthy cognitive aging which have been well received. Most of her career was at Magee Rehab in Philadelphia on the stroke and brain injury unit where she also ran the Cancer Care Committee and co-initiated the music therapy department.
