About Children In Motion - Michaelene S Kearney

Helping families with children between the ages of 2 and 14 navigate dysregulation, sensory sensitivities, attention challenges, & other day to day struggles associated with family life so they can worry less about their child’s future, and focus more on enjoying the present moment.

We are a family owned business that has been serving families in the Atlanta area for the past 25 years. We exist to create a safe space for children to express themselves fully without fear of judgement as they figure out how to be their best selves with their unique wiring.

We believe in the infinite potential of all of the children who walk through our doors.

Our therapists are team oriented and use a relationship driven approach that honors the whole child.

We are in network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. Your specific coverage for OT services is dependent on your specific plan. We recommend you reach out directly to BCBS to determine your coverage. If you are covered by a different insurance company we will be out of network. We are willing to provide any super bills or documentation should you choose to file for out of network coverage. Our cash rate for evaluations is $400, and $160 for therapy sessions. We do not accept Medicaid.

We do our best work with children ages 2 - 14.

We help children navigate dysregulation, sensory sensitivities, attention challenges, & other day to day struggles associated with family life. This can include (but is not limited to) challenges with impulsivity, meltdowns, aggression, transitions, focus & attention, time management, task completion, independence, direction following, picky eating, ARFID, noise sensitivity, overwhelm, potty training, grooming, peer relations, sleep, routines, & more.
