Excel Care Therapy is a long-established private practice offering both occupational therapy and speech-language services in the Arcadia / Biltmore area of Phoenix, Arizona. The clinic is located at 3700 North 24th Street, Suite 130, and provides care by appointment, including selected Saturday sessions. Therapists work with infants, children, and adults who experience challenges with coordination, motor skills, feeding, and other everyday activities. Occupational therapy at the clinic focuses on building independence in daily life by addressing fine motor skills such as hand strength and coordination, visual-perceptual and visual-motor skills, oral feeding and swallowing difficulties, sensory integration needs, and life skills like play, dressing, and personal hygiene.

The team uses a developmental, child-centered approach, tailoring activities to each child’s interests and current level of ability and then gradually building skills to address identified challenges. Interventions are multi-sensory and whole-body focused, incorporating techniques such as vestibular warm-ups, specialized headphones, and therapeutic vibration to support oral-motor readiness, sensory regulation, and posture for feeding and communication. In-person therapy is complemented by teletherapy, allowing families to access speech and occupational therapy via secure video sessions at home, with strong emphasis on active parent involvement for younger children. Excel Care Therapy employs experienced clinicians, including occupational therapists such as Natalie Rahbar, MOTR/L, Emma Clark, OTR/L, and Linda Sadiki Materu, OTD, OTR/L, alongside a team of speech-language pathologists and support staff. The practice also integrates trained therapy dogs into sessions to help make therapy more engaging and comfortable. Excel Care Therapy is an approved provider for Arizona Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), AHCCCS, and the Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program, and accepts most major health insurance plans.
