Speech Up Pediatric Therapy is a mobile speech-language service based in West Fort Worth, Texas, serving children and adolescents in the 76108, 76114, 76116, and 76107 zip codes. The practice was founded in 2023 by speech-language pathologist Bria Gibson, M.S., CCC-SLP, who holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mississippi and a master’s degree from Jackson State University. Bria brings more than five years of pediatric experience across elementary and high schools, ABA clinics, and private practice. Speech Up focuses on supporting children with communication needs while also providing education and guidance for their families. Services are offered to children and young people from 3 to 21 years old.

Speech Up provides comprehensive speech and language evaluations that include standardized testing, caregiver interviews, observation, and play-based interaction, with written reports and goal recommendations. The practice specializes in language therapy targeting expressive, receptive, and social pragmatic skills, and works with late talkers, autistic children, and preschool-aged children, as well as school-aged and high school students whose speech and language needs may have been missed earlier. A strong emphasis is placed on social communication, with dedicated social-language groups for neurodivergent high school students that address advocacy, perspective taking, and understanding social cues, depending on group availability. Parent coaching is a core part of the model, offered virtually to help caregivers use child-led, play-based strategies to create language-rich environments. Services are delivered in community settings such as preschools, daycare centers, day centers, and private schools rather than in the home, and teletherapy is also available for families who prefer virtual sessions. Speech Up primarily focuses on language therapy and may only address articulation speech sounds on a case-by-case basis, referring families to other providers when more specialized articulation, voice, or fluency services are needed. The clinic accepts private pay and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas.
